Two furry friends, a historic town, a great adventure

At the terminus of I-26 on the tip of a peninsula in Southeast South Carolina lies the world of the Wild Children, Talking Animals that call the City of Charleston home.  The Wild Children of the Lowcountry novel series for YA readers and short stories for Middle Grade readers follows the lives of two long-time furry best friends, Rory "Red" Flanagan, a fun-loving and adventurous fox and Caedmon "C. B." Brennan, a shy but friendly wolf, who are caught up in an ancient war between the hidden world of talking creatures that protect humanity and dark forces that want to enslave and destroy.  The tales will tell the adventures of these two boys and their families.

The Last of the Pack

A bashful teenage wolf boy, who happens to be a member of a clan of powerful wizards, not only has to cope with being one of the few talking wolves in a mostly human high school in Charleston, SC, but after suffering through untimely deaths in his pack, he is forced into a battle between good and evil. With help from his friends, a teenaged wolfess and a fox boy, the young wolf must learn to accept his heritage and affect the rescue of his sister and defeat an evil wizard that wants to destroy his entire family.

 

This novel and all subsequent novels should be shelved with Young Adult.  They are recommended for readers 13 and up.  Short Novellas are suitable for Middle Grade readers, 14 and under.
